Seeking: Junior Producer - Summer 2026 Season

Location: Remote (October-May) Scranton, PA (June & July) Start Date: Immediate (part-time remote/as-available)

Full Season Runs: June – August 2026

Compensation:

• Stipend: Approx. $1,300–$1,500 (June–July only, based on candidate and experience)

• Housing: Provided for June and July

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're seeking a motivated and organized Junior Producer to join our team for the 2026 summer season.

This opportunity is ideal for university students studying Arts Administration, Theatre Management, or related fields who are eager to gain real-world experience producing a professional theatre festival.

The position begins immediately on an “as available” basis, allowing the selected candidate to get up to speed before the season launches in June.

This is a hands-on, immersive experience - perfect for anyone curious about what it takes to make a summer theatre season come to life.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist producers with planning, coordination, and day-to-day administration

• Support scheduling, contracting, budgeting, and production logistics

• Help facilitate communication between creative teams, production staff, and leadership

• Contribute to marketing, outreach, and event preparation

• Provide on-the-ground support during rehearsals and performances

• Attend select production meetings and assist with festival operations

  
  

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a university program in Arts Administration, Theatre, or Event Management

• Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented

• Excellent communicator with strong people skills

• Excited to learn about nonprofit producing and festival operations

• Available to be in Scranton, PA for June and July 2026 (housing provided)

• Non-local applicants welcome, provided they can be on-site for those months
