Join the daring, collaborative group of young artists to gain experience in musical theater, Shakespeare, and more in a professional theatrical environment.

Step 1: Apply for the Youth Ensemble
All students who are rising freshmen in high school through recently graduated seniors (ages 14-18) are invited to apply to the Youth Ensemble. Access to this program is through application only, for students of any experience level. Admission to the Youth Ensemble will gain you access to our two week performance and technical training program, including master classes, team-building exercises, Q&A sessions with professional artists, theatre games, and a cabaret performance at the end of the session all created by students.

Who Can Apply?

Students 14-18 as of June 1, 2024.

Graduating seniors who will be 18 by June 1st are eligible to apply for the high school Youth Ensemble.

Step 2: Audition for our Shakespeare and Musical productions (not required)
Once admitted to the Youth Ensemble, all students will perform in The Player's Piece cabaret. Then, students are invited to audition for one or both of our full length productions, this season Shakespeare’s The Tempest and Into the Woods. Access to this part of the program is through audition-only. Admission to the productions will gain you access to learning the ins and outs of a full-length production in a professional setting.

We are excited to announce our Youth Ensemble high school programming. The Player's Piece returns alongside our Shakespeare and musical productions: The Tempest by William Shakespeare and Into the Woods.

The Player's Piece is a collaborated showcase of musical group numbers, solos, instrumental performances, scenes, and monologues curated by students, directed by students, and performed by students. Now in its third year, students are encouraged and mentored through selecting content that will both push and energize them, working alongside our teaching artists to inspire confidence and create work to add to their portfolio.
