SUMMER 2024 OFFERINGS

YOUTH ORCHESTRA

Audition for our new student orchestra program, an immersion program for intermediate high school musicians into the world of professional theatrical orchestrations.

This new facet of our theater program will allow talented high school instrumentalists to receive the unique experience of playing alongside professional musicians in a pit orchestra. After sending in an audition tape that demonstrates their skills on their instrument(s), they may be selected to accompany any of our three live musicals (Into the Woods, and other main stage musicals to be announced). In addition to rehearsing the music multiple times a week, student musicians will also experience the professional masterclasses and community-building that are an integral part of Scranton Shakespeare’s youth mentorship.
